Super Gio is a parent-guided learning service with no public chat, public profiles, advertising, behavioral analytics, in-app purchases, or child-run account flow.
Five powers for safe exploring.
- Keep your details private. Do not type your full name, address, school, phone number, email, password, or where you will be.
- Ask before using an account. Only a parent or guardian should open and manage the Parent Dashboard account.
- Write stories, not secrets. Use imaginative or non-identifying details in Writing Workshop.
- Stop when something feels strange. Close the page and tell a trusted grown-up.
- Take care of your body. Use a comfortable volume, rest your eyes, stretch, and mix screen practice with reading, talking, drawing, and play.
Learning without social or sensor collection.
No commercial targeting
There are no ads, behavioral analytics, personal-data sales, or in-app purchases in the current product.
No microphone, camera, or location
The site does not request microphone, camera, or location access. Activities use prerecorded audio and browser or device speech synthesis. Super Gio does not listen, record, transcribe, recognize speech, score pronunciation, or store voice.
No child contact form
Contact routes are email addresses for grown-ups. Children are directed to ask a trusted adult for help.
Full creative work stays on the device.
- Account-free learning
- Grade 1-12 account-free progress, reading history, complete writing, and other learning records stay in browser storage until site data is cleared or the browser or device removes them.
- Parent-connected Grade 1 progress
- A parent account may sync bounded metrics, statuses, IDs, and timestamps for supported, established Grade 1 subjects. Complete writing and readiness evidence stay local. Speaking records contain completion and scores, never audio.
- Complete writing
- Writing titles, excerpts, complete Writing Workshop drafts, and snapshots stay on the device. Bounded genre, status, IDs, timestamps, and automated writing counts may sync.
- Complete pathways beyond Grade 1
- Grade 2-12 pathway progress remains in browser storage and is not synced to the parent account.
Set up the adventure with care.
- Use a nickname
- Enter only a child's first name or nickname. Do not use a full legal name, birth date, school, address, or child contact information.
- Protect the parent login
- Use a unique password, keep the parent email available for recovery, and sign out on shared devices when appropriate. Sessions can last up to 30 days.
- Review creative work
- Read complete writing together and teach the child not to include private information. Hiding a compact excerpt changes display only, not account sync.
- Treat progress as one signal
- Scores and recommendations are not a diagnosis or a complete picture of learning. Combine them with conversation, observation, schoolwork, and teacher guidance.
- Delete when needed
- Use Parent Dashboard > Parent Account & Privacy while signed in. Restart clears learning progress without deleting the account. Account deletion requires the exact username and current password; browser site-data controls remove every stored record and preference.
