TERMS OF USE

Simple rules for a learning adventure.

These terms describe the current educational beta. A parent or guardian should review them before creating an account or guiding a child's use.

1. USING SUPER GIO

A parent-guided educational service.

  • Super Gio provides interactive Grade 1 practice, creative studios, progress summaries, and an optional parent account.
  • A child may use the learning activities with adult permission and appropriate supervision. Only a parent or guardian should create or manage an account.
  • Creating an account means the parent or guardian agrees to these Terms and the Privacy Notice.
  • If a parent does not agree, the child may still use account-free activities where available, but the parent should not create an account.
2. EDUCATIONAL ROLE

Support, not a substitute.

Not a school

Super Gio is not an accredited school, complete curriculum, tutoring guarantee, or official assessment provider.

Not a diagnosis

Scores and recommendations do not diagnose learning, developmental, medical, or accessibility needs.

Use human judgment

Parents and teachers should consider the whole child, review work together, and seek qualified help when they have concerns.

Results vary

Completion and mastery indicators describe activity inside Super Gio. They do not guarantee school placement, grades, or readiness on their own.

3. PARENT ACCOUNTS

Keep the grown-up controls with the grown-up.

  • Provide accurate parent information. Use a working parent email for recovery and only a child's first name or nickname.
  • Protect credentials. Use a unique password of at least six characters, keep it private, and sign out on shared devices when appropriate.
  • Do not create a child-run account. The dashboard and account recovery flow are intended for a parent or guardian.
  • Understand the checkbox. The registration flow requires an adult parent-or-guardian attestation but does not store it as a consent record. It is not represented as verified identity or an FTC-approved method of verifiable parental consent.
  • Report suspected misuse. Contact [email protected] if an account may be compromised.
  • Understand storage limits. Browser progress can be lost when device data is cleared. The beta should not be treated as the only permanent copy of important child work.
4. CHILD WRITING

Ideas belong to the family.

5. FAIR USE OF THE SERVICE

Be curious without harming the adventure.

  • Do not attempt to break into accounts, bypass security, overload the service, scrape protected account data, or interfere with another family's use.
  • Do not use Super Gio to submit unlawful, harmful, threatening, or privacy-invasive material.
  • Do not copy or redistribute substantial portions of the site, artwork, audio, characters, or curriculum content as a competing product without permission.
  • Reasonable family, classroom, and educational use of the public learning activities is welcome.
6. OWNERSHIP

The universe and the learner's work are different things.

Super Gio materials

The Super Gio character, branding, illustrations, audio, interface, quest stories, and authored learning content remain the property of their respective owner or licensors.

Family-created work

Original child writing remains the family's work. These Terms do not transfer ownership of that writing to Super Gio.

7. BETA AVAILABILITY

The adventure is growing and may change.

8. RESPONSIBILITY

A proportionate limit for a free learning beta.

9. ENDING USE & CHANGES

Parents may stop at any time.

  • A family may stop using account-free activities, sign out, and clear browser site data at any time.
  • A signed-in parent may permanently delete the parent profile, synced progress, sessions, and reset records through Parent Account & Privacy. The form requires typed username confirmation and the current password.
  • Deleting the remote account does not automatically erase learning data on the current device. The parent must explicitly select the separate device-clearing option or later clear site data in the browser.
  • A parent may send account access or correction questions to [email protected], but mailbox delivery and the response workflow have not been technically verified.
  • Access may be limited for security abuse, unlawful use, or serious interference with the service.
  • If these Terms or data practices change materially, the effective date should be updated and parents should receive any additional notice or choice required by applicable law. Continued use alone is not presented as a substitute for legally required notice or consent.
10. CONTACT

Questions are welcome from grown-ups.
